In the movie The Bucket List, two old people suffering from cancer went their different ways before their souls met. One was a black auto mechanic called Carter, and the other was a white man called Edward, a billionaire in a medical institution. The incident of big C makes the two people of different identities meet in the same ward. The common experience makes them get to know each other and feel sorry for each other, like long lost brothers.
By chance, Edward found some of Carter's wishes written on a piece of paper.
