The Three-body Problem is a series of scientific fiction (sci-fi for short) written by Liu Cixin. Liu is the first person to win the Award of Scientific Fiction who was not born in the English-speaking countries.

Liu makes the best of his limitless imagination to make his novels more realistic, reasonable and vivid. He almost perfectly mixes the 5000-year-long history of the Chinese civilization with the 15,000,000,000-year-long history of the universe. Through the details, he shows us another aesthetic(審美的) standard, which revolutionizes(徹底改變) our outlook of the world.

In his story, human beings might have to live in space ships in the future and our bodies would be thin and long as paper. This fiction offers me a sense of crisis(危機) that cannot be described in words. One day we might be destroyed by a small piece of paper. We may have all underestimated(低估) the powerful existence of other intelligent life.

The Three-body Problem《三體》講述了一個奇異科幻故事。文化大革命如火如荼進行的同時，軍方探尋外星文明的絕秘計劃“紅岸工程”取得了突破性進展。但在按下發(fā)射鍵的那一刻，歷經(jīng)劫難的葉文潔沒有意識到，她徹底改變了人類的命運。地球文明向宇宙發(fā)出的啼鳴聲，以太陽為中心，以光速向宇宙深處飛馳。四光年外，“三體文明”正苦苦掙扎——三顆無規(guī)則運行的太陽主導下的百余次毀滅與重生逼迫他們逃離母星。而恰在此時，他們接收到了地球發(fā)來的信息。在運用超技術(shù)鎖死地球人的基礎(chǔ)科學之后，三體人龐大的宇宙艦隊開始向地球進發(fā)，人類的末日悄然來臨。
